Eggs and Sausage Gravy

Missing biscuits and sausage gravy? I am. Thatís where this came fromÖ

 

6 eggs

2 TBS butter

Ĺ Lb Sausage (remember the Ĺ Lb you had left over from the cabbage recipe)

ľ Lb cream cheese

3/4 cup heavy cream

Gravy Master or Gravy Mate or whatever the heck itís called? (optional)

 

 

  1. In a skillet, scramble eggs and place on serving plate.
  2. Wipe same skillet with paper towels and brown sausage and drain.
  3. Reduce heat to low and add cream cheese and heavy cream. Stir until blended and heated through. Add 1 tsp of the Gravy Assistant to give it some color-not really necessary but we taste with our eyes also.
  4. Pour sausage gravy over scrambled eggs and serve.
