Eggs and Sausage Gravy
Missing biscuits and sausage gravy? I am. That’s where this
came from…
6 eggs
2 TBS butter
½ Lb Sausage (remember the ½ Lb you had left over from the
cabbage recipe)
¼ Lb cream cheese
3/4 cup heavy cream
Gravy Master or Gravy Mate or whatever the heck it’s called?
(optional)
- In a
skillet, scramble eggs and place on serving plate.
- Wipe
same skillet with paper towels and brown sausage and drain.
- Reduce
heat to low and add cream cheese and heavy cream. Stir until blended and
heated through. Add 1 tsp of the Gravy Assistant to give it some color-not
really necessary but we taste with our eyes also.
- Pour
sausage gravy over scrambled eggs and serve.
